Burlington Sculpture Park Reveals Pigs on Parade Logo

PRESS RELEASE from the Burlington Sculpture Park Committee

The Burlington Sculpture Park Committee is pleased to announce the winner of its Pigs on Parade Logo contest.

Dove Jimenez is a junior at Burlington High School and is interested in pursuing art at the college level after graduating from BHS next year. Dove is a member of the Burlington Marching Band’s Color Guard Team and also enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons.

The Sculpture Park Committee is grateful to all the students who submitted entries. “All the of entries were professional and inspired, and we had a difficult time choosing,” said Sculpture Committee Chair Barbara L’Heureux. “We selected Dove Jimenez’ logo because we love the clean, scalable design and we really appreciate how Dove incorporated the Sculpture Park logo into their design.”

Pigs on Parade is the Sculpture Park’s major fundraiser for 2024. The project will bring 10-15 large scale fiberglass pigs to the Common for the Summer. Each pig will be sponsored by an area business and will be designed and painted to represent the company or its industry. Interested businesses can reach out through the website.
