Burlington Sports and Activities for April 28, 2024

Big week ahead of us, and a big week behind us. Lots of score updates in today’s Buzz.

The boys’ track team finished second in the Division IV State Relays yesterday. 

On Friday, both the boys’ and girls’ varsity teams won their games against Melrose, with respective scores of 12-8 and 8-5, and the JV and varsity boys’ volleyball teams also won both of their games against Salem, as well; JV by forfeit and varsity with a 3-0 score.

The boys’ and girls’ tennis teams both lost against Belmont with a close 3-2 score. Girls are now 5-2 and boys are 4-3.

The softball teams both lost their games on Friday against Woburn, with the JV team falling 9-8 and the varsity girls losing 12-5; the varsity team’s record is now 5-5. Boys lost as well, by a score of 6-1, bringing their record to 3-6.

Burlington has a big week of sports ahead of it, with lots of league games to choose from (weather permitting).
