Jonathan Sachs tells Burlington Buzz listeners why he thinks the Community Preservation Act is right for Burlington

Hello! We’re back with Burlington Buzz on the Mic.

Today, I have an interview with Yes CPA Burlington Chair, Jonathan Sachs. Jon and I talk about what the Community Preservation Act is and how it could help Burlington, and Jon addresses some of the criticisms of the act. If you have questions about the ins and outs of the program, or what kinds of projects we might be able to undertake with Community Preservation Act funds, take a listen.

The group’s website is loaded with all kinds of information, including videos from several community members that illustrate what could be done with CPA funds.

Do you have questions or concerns not addressed in the interview? Comment on the post or reply to the email!

Listen, also, to my interview with John Iler, who represents the “No on CPA” position.

Don’t forget to vote so your voice can be heard on this and all the statewide issues and offices on the ballot this November. Mail-in voting is happening now; early in-person voting runs from October 22 to November 4; Election Day is November 8.
