Weekly Buzz | Public Safety Night Promises Fun for the Whole Family

Hello, Burlington!

I hope you’re having a nice weekend and finding a way to beat the heat. August is a slow month for municipal meetings, but there are plenty of happenings around Burlington. On Wednesday, don’t miss the annual Public Safety Night held at Wegmans in Burlington. Various first responders and their vehicles will be present, and there will be games, free hot dogs, snacks and drinks. This is always a fun time for the family, and I hope to see you there!

Saturday will be a full day of celebrations on the Common, kicking off with Celebrate Burlington and followed by a classic car show, a concert, and fireworks.

The School Building Committee meets again on Tuesday to discuss all eight building options, and to discuss and vote on possibly allowing the town to vote on a non-binding referendum about the building project.

And that’s just a few of the activities happening this week. Here are some more.
