Tennis Teams Open Season With Wins
Full calendar ahead on Thursday after mixed results on Wednesday
The boys' and girls' tennis teams won their season openers against Reading yesterday. Girls ended up 3-2, and boys bested the Rockets 4-1
After a promising start, the Red Devils baseball team ended up falling 3-1 to Reading. The softball team lost their game, too, by a score of 4-2.
A full calendar of sports is ahead today, starting with boys' volleyball against Belmont at BHS. The JV team plays at 4:00, and the varsity team will take the court at 5:30.
The lacrosse teams play Lexington; girls will be away with games at 4:15 (varsity) and 5:30 (JV), while boys host the Minutemen with a 4:00 JV game and a 5:30 varsity game.
The junior varsity softball team will be on the road at Stoneham for a 4:15 game.
