Tennis, Softball Wins Usher in Week
Monday wins in tennis and JV softball pave the way for Tuesday play, with unified b-ball, tennis, lacrosse, volleyball, softball and baseball on today's calendar.

Both the boys' and girls' tennis teams improved their records yesterday with 4-1 wins against Melrose. The junior varsity softball team celebrated a win as well, beating Stoneham 12-4.

The unified coed basketball team kicks things off for the Red Devils, though, hosting Melrose at BHS. This team pairs BHS students with and without intellectual disabilities for an experience of unconditional teamwork and support.
Lacrosse against Melrose is also on the calendar, with the boys hosting the Red Hawks and the girls traveling for their games. Junior Varsity boys play at 4:00 at MSMS, and the 2-3 boys' varsity team play at 5:30 at BHS; JV girls play at 4:15, and 3-2 varsity girls play at 5:30, both in Melrose.
The boys' volleyball teams will travel to Arlington today for 4:00 freshman and JV games and a 5:15 varsity game. The JV team is 5-1 this season, while the varsity team just had their first win last week and is seeking to improve their 1-6 record.
Baseball and softball are also on the calendar, with the JV and Varsity softball teams as well as the varsity baseball team traveling to Melrose for 4:15 games. The JV baseball team will host the Red Hawks at Center Street field here in Burlington.
