Teams Regroup After Close Losses

The girls' track team improved their record on the season to 2-2 yesterday with a 59-41 win against Wakefield. Many girls set personal records, and Ava Eldridge qualified for states in the 1000m. Boys lost their meet 54-46, but it was a close one with a Wakefield win in the 4X400 relay deciding the meet.

Boys' basketball also suffered a suspenseful loss, with a tough Arlington team edging them out by a point and ending with a final score of 53-52. Girls lost a close one as well, by a score of 45-41. Both teams now have a 5-2 record; they next play on Friday against Wakefield.

On todays schedule: girls' hockey in Leominster at 5:30, boys' hockey at Watertown at 8:00, and wrestling at home against Melrose.
