State Championship Bid Ends for Two Burlington Teams
The season ends for two Burlington teams, leaving only the boys' lacrosse team standing in anticipation of their Elite Eight game tomorrow.
The girls' lacrosse and boys' tennis teams both fell to strong Duxbury teams yesterday, ending their state championship bids. The Lady Devils lost their Round of 16 game by a score of 12-3, and the final score for the boys' Elite Eight game was 1-4.
Burlington has one final team left in the tournament; the boys' lacrosse team will take on Falmouth in the Round of 8 tomorrow at 6:00 in Falmouth.
