Golf Team Ends Regular Season With 8-6 Overall Record

The rain didn't deter the golf and soccer teams from getting out and playing yesterday.

The golf team played their last regular season game against Wilmington yesterday and came out on top 47.5-24.5. They'll be heading into state sectionals next after finishing 8-6 overall and 6-5 in the Middlesex League.

The soccer teams, unfortunately, both lost in their matchups to Winchester. Despite a strong effort, the boys were defeated 2-0 by the Red and Black, and the girls fell by a score of 3-0.

First on the schedule today, the cross country teams host Melrose for a 4:00 meet. The freshman soccer teams play Winchester at 4:15, with the girls hosting at Memorial Elementary and the boys traveling for an away game.

The volleyball teams will be traveling to Winchester as well, with the freshman and JV teams facing the Black and Red at 4:15 and the varsity team playing at 5:30.

And, finally, the field hockey team will be playing a 4:15 varsity game and a 5:45 JV game, also in Winchester.
