Daily Buzz | Basketball Captain Rodriguez to Shoot for 1000th Career Point
Pack the stands and support this milestone
Good Morning, Burlington!
Just a reminder that Burlington Public Schools will not be in session today. Don’t let those cars in the parking lot fool you; the teachers and other staff will be on site for professional development, but kids aren’t invited! They’ll be rested up and ready for children bright and early tomorrow morning.

Lots of score updates for you, as I took my vacation time seriously and didn’t report out this weekend.
The varsity track teams won their meets on Thursday against Watertown, with girls coming in 38-58 and boys finishing 25-75. They’ve got a big week coming up, with meets at some big and beautiful tracks around Boston.
The boys’ basketball team won their matchup against Chelmsford 62-51 on Friday after a very close 42-44 loss to Bedford on Thursday. Girls suffered a very close loss on Thursday as well, finishing 50-52 at Acton-Boxborough.
Our boys’ and girls’ hockey teams lost their games this weekend; girls broke their undefeated record with a 0-2 loss at Malden Catholic, and boys lost 0-2 in Westford and 1-3 in Billerica, bringing their record to 1-4-1.
We’ve got basketball versus Arlington on the agenda today, with boys playing at home and girls traveling to play the Spy Ponders.

Friday Funny
I forgot to include this yesterday, but I couldn’t resist the opportunity for a nerdy Friday Funny. This is the kind of resolution I can get behind!
That’s it for today. Have a great one, and I’ll see you tomorrow!
