Burlington Teams Score Wins Against Lexington, Wakefield
Baseball, softball, and volleyball wins yesterday lead into a cold and possibly rainy Friday of athletics.

The wins outweighed the losses in Burlington athletics yesterday, as several teams marked the season's first win.
The boys' volleyball teams both won against Wakefield in a sweep, with JV going 2-0 and varsity going 3-0. This marks the first varsity win this season. Likewise, the softball teams won their games against Lexington. Varsity won 10-5, bringing their record to 1-2, and JV won big with a score of 22-2.
Varsity baseball is also at 1-2 now, after a 4-2 win against Lexington; the JV team got close but didn't quite pull it off in a high-scoring 11-10 game.
The Minutemen shut out both of the tennis teams, bringing both their records to 1-2 as well.
This afternoon is once again full (as long as weather permits) in a Watertown takeover, with JV Lacrosse games bookending the day. The boys' lacrosse teams host Watertown this afternoon, with a 4:00 JV game at Marshall Simonds and the Varsity team taking the field at 5:30 at BHS. The girls' lacrosse teams play in Watertown, with a 6:30 varsity game and an 8:00 JV game.
Tennis is on the agenda again today, also against Watertown; with the boys hosting at Rahanis and the girls traveling for their games.
Varsity baseball and softball will be in Watertown see if they can continue the momentum from yesterday. The baseball team takes on the Raiders in an away game at 7:00 tonight after a 4:00 JV game, and the softball game will be at 4:30.
If the rain comes as expected, many of these games could be postponed.
