Yesterday was a busy day in sports, as anyone who was at the high school in the afternoon or evening can attest.

Burlington hosted the Middlesex League track championships. The undefeated boys' team came in 3rd place of 18 teams, and the girls (previous record 3-2) came in 6th. See the full results here.

The Boys' volleyball teams lost two close matches, with JV falling 2-1 and varsity falling 3-2. And, the softball team came back from Tuesday's loss with a 12-2 win in Melrose bringing their record to 9-8.

Today looks rainy, and outdoor events may or may not proceed. If not postponed, boys' and girls' tennis teams both host Stoneham at 4:00 at Rahanis Park and the JV softball team will play Stoneham on Rotary Field.

The varsity boys' volleyball team will also play today, hosting Salem at 5:30, and so will the unified coed basketball team, who host Lexington at 4:00.
