Four out of five teams move on in their state tournaments.
This weekend was an exciting one for most of our athletic teams, as four out of five moved on in their state tournaments.
Lady Devils Lacrosse took a 16-6 win over Canton and will be moving on to the Round of 16; their opponent will be determined by the Milton-Duxbury game on Monday. The boys' lacrosse team celebrated a big win, as well, coming in over Martha's Vineyard with a score of 17-5. They will play Dracut on Tuesday at 5:30 at home in the Round of 16.
The volleyball team shut out Academy of the Pacific Rim 3-0 in their preliminary match and will be taking on Marlborough on Tuesday at 5:00 in the round of 32.
The baseball team beat Scituate 4-2 and will go up against Plymouth North on Monday at 4:00 in the Round of 32.
The softball team's season is over after a 12-0 loss to Somerset Berkley Regional.
