Burlington Sports and Activities for April 5-7, 2024
After postponements yesterday, and ahead of some likely postponements tomorrow, some games and matches are schedules. Or are they...?
The boys' volleyball teams played Belmont yesterday, and varsity came out with a 3-1 win. The JV team fell to the Marauders 1-2. This afternoon they'll be hosting Somerville for 4:00 (JV) and 5:30 (varsity) games.
Outdoor sports games were postponed/canceled last night, as anticipated. This weekend, though, if the weather holds out, there will be lots of games on the calendar.
The boys' baseball teams will host Bedford at 4:15, with JV playing at Center Street and varsity playing at Francis Wyman.
Tomorrow, we've got:
- Boys' lacrosse against Acton-Boxborough, with varsity playing at 10:00 and JV playing at 11:45
- Girls' lacrosse in Bedford, with 11:00 (JV) and 12:30 (varsity) games
- Boys' and girls' track at 2:00 and 4:00, respectively, at Wilmington.
There is rain in the forecast, so TBD on whether or not these events will be able to go on.
