Burlington Sports and Activities for April 10, 2024
Tennis teams are at it for a third day in a row, along with many other spring sports teams.
The volleyball team lost their game against Winchester yesterday with a score of 3-0, while boys' lacrosse too home a 9-8 win against a talented Cohasset team. The tennis teams both won against Wakefield, with boys going 4-1 and girls winning 3-2.
Athletes of just about all spring sports will be out and playing this afternoon:
The track & field teams open their seasons this afternoon at home against Melrose at 4:00.
Lacrosse teams play Arlington today. Boys host the Spy Ponders for a 4:00 JV game and a 5:30 varsity game, while girls travel and play at 4:30 (JV) and 5:45 (V).
The tennis teams are at it for the third day in a row as the girls' team hosts Melrose at Rahanis Park for a 4:00 game, while the boys travel to Melrose for a 4:15 start time.
The JV and varsity baseball teams travel to Watertown for 4:00 and 7:00 games, respectively, while the girls host Watertown for a softball game at Marvin Field at 4:15.
