Burlington Sports and Activities for April 3, 2024
Lacrosse, baseball, and boys' volleyball teams held their home openers yesterday; games likely canceled due to weather today.
Our lacrosse teams lost their game against Reading yesterday. Boys lost 9-8, while varsity and JV girls' teams fell 18-7 and 12-5, respectively. The boys' volleyball teams lost 1-3 (varsity) and 0-2 (JV). The baseball team fell in a close 5-4 game against Lexington.
Today's scheduled games are likely to be canceled due to the wintry mix that is expected to fall this afternoon, though the Buzz does not have confirmation of cancellations yet:
- Tennis against Arlington at 4:00, with boys hosting at Rahanis and girls traveling to Arlington
- Softball at home against Lexington at Rotary Field
