Boys' Lacrosse Notches First Win
A variety of games are on the agenda today in Burlington athletics.
The boys' lacrosse team scored their first win of the season against Lexington yesterday, beating the Minutemen 17-5. The girls are still seeking a W, with a 16-6 loss to Reading on Tuesday and a close 11-9 miss against Lexington on Thursday. Boys play next this Saturday in 6:00 match at Acton-Boxborough.
Varsity boys' volleyball fell once more yesterday to the Belmont Marauders, bringing their record to 0-3. The JV team secured a win, though; their new record is 1-2.
Today's calendar features a smattering of games:
- Girls' tennis hosts Bedford at Rahanis at 4:00 after besting Reading earlier this week.
- The boys' volleyball team plays Somerville at BHS with 4:00 JV and 5:30 varsity games.
- JV and Varsity softball teams host Billerica at Rotary and Marvin fields at 4:15.
- The JV boys' lacrosse team will play their own game at Acton-Boxborough at 4:30.
