The basketball teams had a lot to celebrate on Friday as both the boys' and girls' varsity teams won against Melrose. Girls came out on top by a score of 45-34, and boys finished up at 54-46, brining their record to 5-1. The boys' JV team also topped Melrose, ending with a score of 53-51. Freshmen came close but ended up losing 46-43.

The boys' and girls' hockey teams both played Stoneham this weekend; the boys' record fell to 2-3 with a 2-1 loss to the Spartans, while the girls brought home an 8-2 victory, bringing their record to 3-2.

The gymnastics team won their meet last week, as well, beating out Stoneham and Woburn. And, despite many individual wins and pins, the wrestling team dropped all 3 matches of their quad meet this weekend; they were up against Bedford/Acton Boxboro, Hanover, and Winchester.

Today, the 4-1 girls' varsity basketball team plays at 6:30 at Ipswich and the 2-3 boys' hockey team will drop the puck at Newburyport at 7:00.
