Basketball and Hockey Teams Look to Rise in the Rankings
The basketball and hockey teams are at it this weekend in hopes of rising in the ranks with three weeks left in regular season play.
The wrestling team lost their Senior Night meet against Wakefield 50-19 yesterday. They'll be back at it this Saturday at a tournament in Concord, NH.
Basketball is on today's agenda, as the boys' and girls' teams travel to Watertown to play the solidly-matched Red Raiders. The freshman boys kick things off at 4:15, followed at 5:00 by JV boys and varsity girls (9-5) and 7:00 by JV girls and varsity boys (9-4).
Hockey teams host Stoneham tomorrow at 2:15 (boys, current record: 6-1-1) and 4:00 (girls, current record: 6-6).
Junior varsity boys' hockey has a couple of games this weekend, taking on Arlington Catholic on the road at 8:30 tonight and Belmont at the Ice Palace at 4:30 on Sunday.
