The Shawsheen Tech application is ready and an open house will be held this November.

Not long after welcoming the Class of 2028 through its doors, the technical high school serving Burlington and other surrounding communities is paving the way for this year's eighth graders to apply. The Shawsheen Tech application is now open, and students have until February to submit it, along with the required teacher recommendations and academic records.

And, on Sunday, November 3, from 2:00-4:00, Shawsheen will be opening its doors to the public, offering prospective students, alumni, business partners, families, and friends the chance to explore the opportunities available at Shawsheen Valley Regional Vocational Technical School District.

Shawsheen boasts 20 technical areas of focus, as well as an active athletics program and diverse extracurricular clubs and organizations. Visitors can experience interactive demonstrations from various academic and technical programs, giving them a chance to explore the campus on self-guided or student-led tours.

In addition to highlighting programs and student achievements, information about district services and programming will be available. This includes details on Adult Education, the School of Practical Nursing, Summer Enrichment programs, 7th-grade Project Explore, and the aquatics program.

Join your neighbors and the Shawsheen community on November 3 from 2:00-4:00 PM for this first-hand showcase of what career and technical education looks like at Shawsheen, and discover what makes Shawsheen a cornerstone of hands-on learning and student success.
