The link to the smoke alarm detection event in Monday’s Buzz was incorrect! Click here to make your appointment for free smoke alarm installation—both sounded alarms and bed-shaking/strobing alarms are available to be installed next Saturday, November 18.

There’s no school in Burlington today and tomorrow, and maybe you don’t feel like making lunch and/or dinner at home. Consider supporting the Fox Hill PTO’s Pizza Works fundraiser from 12-9 today! Be sure to mention the fundraiser when you order and give/show them the fundraising flyer (found on Facebook) when you pay, and 20% of your order will be donated to the Fox Hill PTO.

Students Collaborate to Support Veterans

Students at BHS have teamed up with Burlington-based Disabled and Limbless Veterans to organize a food and donation drive this Thanksgiving season. Through November 17, your BPS students can bring non-perishable, canned, and/or Thanksgiving-related foods to help fill the collection containers at all Burlington schools. You can also make a direct donation on the GoFundMe page. Funds raised during this drive will go toward purchasing clothes, groceries, and other cold-weather and Thanksgiving essentials. Help make this a Thanksgiving to remember for local veterans.
