Hello, neighbor!

It’s definitely midsummer, and there’s not a lot of news to report today. So I’ll take advantage of the slowness to get caught up on some other Buzzworthy work and just give you 2 heads ups:

• So far (as much as you can rely on a forecast eight days into the future), the weather looks like it’s going to be spectacular next Saturday, August 5, for Celebrate Burlington. This is one of the town’s biggest celebrations on the Common, with local businesses, nonprofits, and town departments all out to have a fun time. The Buzz will have a table set up and some goodies to share. Hope to see you there!
• I’ll keep reminding you about this, but mark your calendar for the community meeting to review the proposed repaving work on Route 3A from Pinehurst Ave. in Billerica to BHS. The meeting will be on August 8 at 6:30 PMMassDOT website and read a review of the last public meeting in the Buzz.
