Burlington's Newest Family-Owned Business Invites You to Their Grand Opening

One of Burlington’s newest businesses is ready to introduce itself to the public.

Hard to miss at 310 Cambridge Street, near the Billerica Line, is the refurbished (and very bright!) Prestige Car Wash. This latest addition to the Prestige family has already been giving out free washes for several weeks now, with lines wrapping around the building at times. The renovated facility features two automatic touchless wash bays as well as a (very long!) tunnel that uses soft cloth, high pressure, and high-quality soaps.

The business was purchased and re-opened by brothers Nir, Joseph, and Ronen Drory, who seek car washes in need of some extra TLC and remake them into facilites with state-of-the-art equipment to deliver a thorough wash followed by a vacuum that is always powerful and always free. Director of Operations, Tony DeBarros, says the brothers, originally from Israel, “could write a book on what the American dream looks like.” According to DeBarros, they came to the United States at a young age and worked hard on their entrepreneurial enterprises including an oriental rug business, gas stations, and a rental car company. “This is the most gratifying business you can own,” DeBarros says, because you’re providing a service people want and customers leave with smiles on their faces.

Prestige works hard to transform their car washes into a destination local residents can be proud of and to build trust with their communities. One way to establish that goodwill is by offering free car washes, says DeBarros. The company uses free car washes as an opportunity to “work toward excellence and refine the operation,” he says, “until we can say ‘we are worth every penny you come and spend here.’”

The business plans to hold its Grand Opening this Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. In addition to free car washes, the party will feature Paw Patrol characters, giveaways, and more. The owners also enjoy the opportunity to help community members in need, and will be pairing their grand opening with a fundraiser to support Womenade’s efforts at fundraising for Burlington resident Kelly Floyd, who has been living with and undergoing treatment for cancer. Proceeds from Grand Opening week will go straight to Kelly and her family, and employees have even agreed to donate any tips they’re given to support this worthy cause.

“We are pleased to be the largest family-owned car wash company in Boston,” says the company’s Chief Financial Officer, Nir Drory, “and we are ready to grow our business here to help even more Massachusetts car owners ‘halt the salt’ and maintain their vehicles against harsh New England weather.”

The Prestige family hopes to see you and your car soon!
