Friday Buzz | The Weekend Ahead
Two fundraisers and some family-family events
Hello and happy Friday! The week sure felt quick.
There’s nothing on the town agenda today, but I wanted to be sure and shout out a few events:
Library craft this week is a mid-autumn moon festival kit. Pick up your kit from the library from 10-6 today, 9/9.
Walk & Roll to Cure Ataxia on the common. Ataxia is a condition affecting muscle coordination and making it difficult to trust the muscles to do what they’re expected to do. The Walk & Roll event is not quite halfway to its fundraising goal of $20,000. Please consider donating and/or participating in the walk by clicking the link above.
Comedy Night to support BHS Football, featuring comedian Brad Mastrangelo. Doors at 6, show starts at 7. Cash bar and hors d’oeuvres. By tickets at the link.
There is a Home Event at Third Ave., beginning tonight and continuing through the weekend. This event will highlight the home retailers in the area and there is also a full weekend of family-friendly activities from music to face-painting:

This is so me. I’ve been complaining for 20+ years that autumn doesn’t last nearly long enough up here. But when it’s here, it’s quite nice.
I’ll see you tomorrow, Burlington.
