Food Service Update
I learned a little more about the food service changeover yesterday: the tentative date for the switch is March 6, pending review by the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
The school is not allowed to change the menu, however, for 21 days to allow for a review of allergens and other information. Parents will have access to a software similar to MealViewer, which is in use now, that will provide insight into the allergens in each meal. We also have existing inventory we need to work through, so we can realistically expect to see more substantial changes in April.
