Good Morning, Burlington!

The Buzz is thrilled to announce that we are renewing our partnership with People Helping People. Last year, we donated more than $100 from annual memberships in the month of November. This year, we’re doing ourselves one better and hoping to more than double that amount!

• From now through the end of November, 10% from each new annual Hive membership will go toward People Helping People.
• Everyone who upgrades between now and November 30 will be entered into a drawing for one of four $25 gift cards to a local business.
• Plus, if you “Set Your Own Annual Rate” of more than $100 or more this month, you’ll receive some exclusive Buzz swag, like a t-shirt and a stainless steel coffee mug!

People Helping People is our local food pantry, serving hundreds of families each week and making sure our most vulnerable residents are taken care of with food and basic necessities. During the fall season, the pantry is especially busy planning for Thanksgiving Dinner and the Wish Tree program, and your help through the Buzz will support People Helping People in making the holiday season special for all Burlington residents.

Municipal Meetings and Community Events

• 7:00-8:00 PM - Teen Halloween Escape Room -  Teens will solve clues and figure out puzzles together to escape the room. The prize? Candy, of course! (Library, Register)

Sports and Activities

The cross country team has the Middlesex League Tournament today at 1:00 at the Woburn Country Club. Good luck, runners!
