Daily Buzz | Summer's A-Buzzin'

Hey there,

After a couple boiling hot weekends, it’s now June - and, meteorology be darned, June = Summer in my book. So, happy summer, my friends.

Once again, there’s not much on the books for today, so I’m going to focus on other work.

The Transportation Committee does meet this evening at 6:30 to discuss some items that have been swirling around lately:

• Safe Routes to School, which has been discussed at School Committee
• 128 Business Council Transportation Regionalization Plan, which hopes to make the 128 corridor more accessible; this was discussed briefly at Select Board and will be revisited at their next meeting
• MBTA Bus route redesign, which was also discussed at the Select Board meeting and seeks to shift bus service, which would add some stops and remove others

You can join that meeting via Webex. I’m eager to see how those discussions go, but unfortunately I have to work tonight and won’t be able to attend. (Anyone want to take notes for the class?)
