And, welcome The Year of the Rabbit

Weekly Buzz | Town Meeting Tomorrow

Hello, Burlington!

Lunar New Year begins today. It’s the Year of the Rabbit, which, according to this article, means “We Can All Chill.” Thank goodness.

As you can probably tell, I’ve had a hard time getting myself going this weekend. What I did do is finish summarizing all the Warrant articles for Monday’s Town Meeting. What I didn’t do is much of anything else. We’ll hopefully be back to our regularly scheduled programming tomorrow!

Here is a selection of local business, Library, and Town events going on throughout the week. As always, if you have anything you want to be included in the Buzz, just let us know!

Sports and Activities

Boys and Girls both lost in basketball against Wakefield on Friday. Our Varsity Boys’ hockey team lost against Wakefield yesterday, too, with a score of 3-1.

Our boys wrestled at the Colter Abely Wrestling Tournament yesterday, and I’ll share some highlights when I have them. Lady Devils Hockey were up 2-1 in Wakefield last I heard, but I haven’t heard a final score yet.

JV Boys play hockey in Waltham tonight at 8:00.

That’s all for today. I’ll see you tomorrow. Stay warm and healthy!
