Faith professionals to learn alongside law enforcement today
Good Morning, Burlington!
While our phone calendars are telling us it’s Election Day, there is no election in Burlington today. The Buzz will certainly let you know when the elections are coming up, starting with the state presidential primary on March 5, and you can expect to see these and more upcoming dates in the Buzz Winter Guide, which will be coming out late next week!
Second of Two Events Hosted by BPD
Last week, the I Love U Guys Symposium brought school and law enforcement together for a day of sharing stories and resources to nurture a positive and safe school climate.
Today, the Burlington Police Department is scheduled to host faith leaders and their employees and volunteers from our community at the Protecting Houses of Worship training. This event, rescheduled from October 20, aims to provide strategies and training that will be useful in emergency situations.
