Which candidate is the best fit to promote the public health of our town?
Happy Wednesday, friends and neighbors!
No write-in updates at last check, so let’s move right along.
Spotlight on Board of Health
Three (!) more days until the election, and today let’s take a last look at your Board of Health candidates.
Incumbent Ed Weiner believes his long history as a board member coupled with his professional expertise as a doctoral-level scientist makes him the right candidate for the job.
Janice Cohen, challenger, says her eagerness to learn and keep up with the latest developments in technology that affect our town, such as environmental issues and hazardous waste, will make her a good fit for the Board.
The final challenger, Gayle DaMore, believes her background in health education would be just the right complement to the great work the Board is already doing.
But that’s not all the candidates had to say! Click their names above to read their responses in their own words to the Burlington Equity Coalition Candidate Guide.
