Daily Buzz | Snow Day
And some ConCom notes
Good morning and happy first Friday Buzz! Most of the town is closed today, so if you’re able to stay home, I hope you’re enjoying some time next to a roaring fire or doing whatever it is you enjoy doing on a snowy day. If you’re out, I hope you’re staying safe with a warm drink.
Burlington Today
I was fortunate to be able to attend the Conservation Commission meeting last night to learn more about the proposed changes to the stormwater management bylaws. The conversation was robust and productive, and will be continued for at least one more public meeting.
Here are my overarching takeaways:
Lots of community members participated!
There are a lot of moving parts to these proposals.
Nothing is set in stone and the Conservation Commission is open to recommendations and feedback!
A mature oak tree can take up between 50 and 200 gallons of water per day (What?! Okay, that’s not big and overarching but it’s super interesting!).
Friday funny
I’m feeling this one today.
Hoping you all have nice big coats.
See you tomorrow,
Nicci
