Daily Buzz | Get Ready for Shredding Day
Also, don't forget to mark your calendars for the Pumpkin Party
Good morning, Burlington!
Consider this your last plug for completing our survey for paid and free subscribers (be sure to click on the correct link). Many of you are new this week (yay!), but I still want to hear from you! I’ll be sharing a few key points from the results on Saturday and incorporating the feedback to the extent feasible as I plan for 2023.
I also wanted to highlight two important events this Saturday:
- Shredding Day for Residents is on Saturday from 9-12 in the parking lot behind Town Hall.
- The Sculpture Park is having its autumn gathering on Saturday from 9-11. A local artist will do a pumpkin painting demonstration, and participants can paint their own pumpkins! Supplies including paints and a small pumpkin will be provided to the first 100 entrants. Costumes are welcome but not required. Did I mention free cider donuts?

- 12:00-4:00 PM - Early In-Person Voting - at Town Hall
- 1:00 PM - Housing Authority meets for an executive session centering around Executive Director contract negotiations
- 7:00 PM - Conservation Commission only has a couple of agenda items - removal of trees on one residential property and demo/construction of a new dwelling on another.
