Weekly Buzz | New Restaurant Brings Tasty Food, Good Value, and Live Entertainment to Burlington
And, BPS seeks a preschool teacher
Hello, Burlington!
The snow is beginning to move in, but I wouldn’t expect word on how the school system will call it until early tomorrow morning if I had to guess. We are in the 3-6” band, according to WHDH, with travel impacts expected tonight into tomorrow morning.
Speaking of schools, if you or someone you know is an early childhood educator looking to take a new step for your career, then check out the newest job opening in Burlington Public Schools. The town is looking for a preschool teacher who is enthusiastic about implementing a play-based curriculum to teach the youngest of Burlington students. The job is at Sprouts, which is the preschool/daycare that BPS teachers and, if there are additional openings, town employees, can send their children to. The ideal candidate can begin as soon as possible. Learn more about the position or apply.
New Restaurant Brings Tasty Food, Good Value, and Live Entertainment to Burlington
Burlington’s newest spot for dining and entertainment is about to open. More than a year in the making, Goodnight Johnny’s had its soft opening this past week and will be opening to the public this Tuesday for lunch and dinner. The restaurant-bar boasts four musical performances a week and aims to deliver high-quality American comfort food at affordable prices and with a side of live entertainment.
Married co-owners John Thibault and Elaine Zouzas hope Goodnight Johnny’s becomes a local hangout where folks can enjoy themselves while getting to know each other. The restaurant opens on Tuesday, January 30, for lunch and dinner, and will feature music from the Silver Arrow Band. Read more about the restaurant’s history and mission below!
