Weekly Buzz | Light Week Frontloaded With Halloween Activities
Plus, high school varsity tournament brackets to be released this week
Hello, Burlington!
Today there will be Trunk or Treating at the United Church of Christ, Congregational. Show up at 3:00 to decorate your car, and then go in search of treats from 3:30-4:30. Costumes encouraged!
Also today is the Woburn Halloween Parade, starting at 1:00 on Main Street.
There are still pumpkins to be had at St. Mark’s 10th annual Pumpkin Patch and three more days to get yours and support People Helping People. Above, see one example of what the Buzz has been doing with its pumpkins.
This Wednesday and Thursday, the Burlington Police Department will be hosting the first regional briefing symposium of the I Love You Guys Foundation focusing on school safety and crisis response.
Finally, Daylight Savings Time will be ending on Saturday evening/Sunday morning. Nightfall might come at 4:00 for the next several months, but at least we gain an hour over the weekend. Don’t forget to fall back!
