Weekly Buzz | Help Your Neighbors this Week with Donations of Money and Thanksgiving Foods

Good Morning, Burlington!

It was great seeing some of you yesterday at the MIB Winter Marketplace. It will still be happening today, from 11-4, and I hope you check it out even though I won’t be selling. If you’re interested in any of the Buzz merchandise we had at the table, get in touch. We still have a few small and large stainless steel tumblers, some ceramic mugs, and a select few t-shirts.

This Week in Burlington

The week appears stacked toward the beginning, but I suspect it’s because of the 48-hour rule: groups holding open meetings must get their agendas posted a minimum of 48 hours before their meetings, and with the holiday on Friday, there was one fewer day to do that. All this to say that I suspect more late-week meetings will pop up.

One thing you won’t see is the DEI Committee quarterly report on Monday’s Select Board Agenda. Again, due to the the holiday, the clock ran out on getting this item onto the agenda, and so hopefully this item will appear on the 11/28 agenda.

I also see a couple of football games on the calendar this week, but that’s it for sports.

Got activities? Send ’em over. If you or your family has an activity you want to let the community know about, share it here!

Got photos? Send ’em over. I’m always looking for beautiful photos from around the area to share in the Buzz.

Got story or podcast ideas? Send ’em over. After a short podcast burst and a brief hiatus, I’m ready to schedule some more shows before the end of the year. Looking forward to hearing your ideas for what you’d like me to cover!

Have a great week, friends!
