Weekly Buzz | Get a Car Wash, Support a Good Cause
And, Town Meeting is Monday
Hello, Burlington!
It’s a busy week in Burlington; don’t miss these highlights:
- Town Meeting, which the Buzz will be live tweeting as the main event gets underway tomorrow.
- Math nights at two of our elementary schools—an opportunity to learn about and celebrate math and the Burlington mathematics curriculum.
- Two opportunities to help a community member and her family.
- Several social activities for adults.
- An open house for the Burlington Early Childhood Center, our town’s integrated preschool.
Get a Car Wash, Support a Good Cause
If you’ve driven down Cambridge Street in the last several months, you couldn’t have missed seeing the transformation of the car wash at the corner of Wilmington Road. The building was under renovation for several months last year, and just a few weeks ago Prestige Car Wash opened for business.
Owned by brothers, Joseph, Nir, and Ronen Drory, Prestige has been providing free car washes for the Burlington Community since they opened. They see the offering as a way to build goodwill with the community while refining their operations and being sure they’re providing the level of service they’re known for.
The Grand Opening is planned for this Saturday, and is promises plenty of fun for the whole family; they’ll also be donating proceeds from Grand Opening week to support Womenade’s January fundraiser to support a Burlington resident who has been battling cancer.
