Weekly Buzz | Connect With Your Community This Week
A little something for everyone
Good morning!
I gave myself the day off yesterday because I didn’t have a topic queued up for the Weekend Buzz, and by the time I thought of one, it was too late to research and write it. Maybe I’ll be able to get that idea off the ground for next Saturday. If not, I found in my email another story I was going to cover before I left and didn’t (sorry, W - coming soon!). So there’s plenty of material for next weekend and beyond!
MSMS Seeking Substitute Teachers
Burlington Public Schools is looking for building-based substitute teachers for Marshall Simonds Middle School. The work pays $100/day. If you hold the appropriate certifications and a COVID vaccination, this opportunity might be for you! Learn more here.
Help Fund Operations for the Buzz
I haven’t mentioned for a while all the ways you can support me and my work at the Buzz. If you’d like to support my work here, please consider doing one of the following:
Share this post with 3 people in town who don’t already subscribe (and urge them to do so!).
Become a paid subscriber for $5/month, $50/year, or name your own annual value over $50.
Support me with a one-time contribution on Ko-Fi. Some folks use this as a way to give me a tip/buy me a coffee for my work; others use it as a way to name their own value.
I appreciate you more than you know; thanks for your ongoing support!
