Share Your Ideas For Burlington's Outdoor Recreation Facilities
The Parks & Recreation Department is seeking input from residents on the future of the town's outdoor recreation facilities.
The Burlington Parks and Recreation Department wants to hear your thoughts on the town's outdoor recreation facilities. The town has been working on the Outdoor Facilities Master Plan, and they will be holding a community meeting on Tuesday, April 30, to hear from residents.
The outcome of this planning process, says Parks & Recreation Director Brendan Egan, will be to create a planning document to reference for the next five years or so as the town plans for the future of the parks, playgrounds, and other outdoor facilities. Many of the town's playgrounds are nearing the end of their life span, and improvements need to be made with respect to modernization and accessibility. In addition, the town will be looking to add or upgrade amenities like picnic shelters, bathroom buildings, and benches.
Join the Recreation Department at Grandview Farm at 6 pm on Tuesday and have your voice heard regarding Burlington's outdoor recreation facilities!
