Make an Appointment Today for Free Smoke Alarm Installation
The Burlington Fire Department is working in conjunction with Sound the Alarm and the American Red Cross to get smoke alarms installed in local homes.
Smoke alarms are an essential safety feature of any home, cutting the risk of death from house fires in half. On Saturday, November 18, firefighters and local volunteers will be installing smoke detectors in homes by appointment. Take advantage of this free program by calling 1-800-564-1234 or signing up online. There are still plenty of appointments left!
Flashing and bed shaking alarms for residents who are Deaf and hard-of-hearing are also available!
