Get in the Spirit with Upcoming Holiday Events in Burlington
Burlington is home to many holiday events full of lights, carols, and visits from special friends to make the season warm and bright.
Hundred came out to the Burlington Town Common on December 3, 2024, for the 51st annual Tree Lighting. Carolers, free cider, and a gingerbread-house-themed obstacle course are just a few of the touches that made this event special. Santa and some other North Pole friends visited, and Animal Control came out to thwart the Grinch's attempt to have away with it all. If you missed out on the fun, never fear. The Tree Lighting was just one of many holiday events in Burlington this year.

Have fun and give back at Kadilak Realty Group's holiday events
The Indoor Holiday Home Tour is back for the third year in a row! Participants will receive an itinerary of homes to tour, all decorated from top to bottom for the holiday season. Come and go as you please during the time window, but don't forget to join the KRG crew at their offices for appetizers, beer, and wine.

Meet Santa and enjoy some holiday fun at the annual Santa Party, also sponsored by Kadilak Realty Group. People of all ages can try their hand at cookie decorating, enjoy some winter- and holiday-themed arts and crafts, get professional pictures with Santa, and much more.

Both the Holiday Home Tour and the Santa party are free. Participants are encouraged to purchase a raffle ticket to benefit Burlington Womenade and/or bring new or gently used toys & clothing to benefit Wee Care Burlington.
Meet Santa at BCAT
Burlington's local news and television station, BCAT, is back to hosting Santa visits this year after a hiatus due to the pandemic. This beloved event invites children to visit Santa and the elves, live and on TV—and even on Zoom! Parents can take their own photos of their children with Santa on the festive holiday set, and each visitor will receive a free gift while supplies last. Free refreshments will be provided! Highlights of BCAT's programming will also be featured on the broadcast.

Help a Burlington Family In Need
People Helping People is open to support of all kinds this winter season. Stop by the Wish Tree at the Burlington Mall to grab a wish you can fulfill for a local family. Items to fulfill the basic needs and holiday gift wishes listed on each card can be returned, unwrapped, to the Wish Tree for distribution mid-December. If Market Basket is already on your calendar, why not pick up a few extra items to support the Marshall Simonds Student Council food drive? Bring the following items to MSMS or send with your middle-schooler by December 16:
- Breakfast cereal
- Oatmeal packets
- Side dishes
- Kids’ snack foods
- Flour
- Sugar
- Coffee
- Tea
- Cocoa
- Canned soups
- Jelly (no peanut buter, please!)
- Cooking oil
- Baby wipes
