Daily Buzz | Virtual Library Talk Tonight

Good Morning!

I had a great time riding the PMC Kids Ride course with my oldest yesterday. Over 200 kids rode, and thousands were raised to help fight cancer. You can still donate by visiting this link.

Today in Burlington

The long-awaited joint meeting between DEI and Select Board will occur today. Read on for details and for more.

7:00 PM - Virtual talk sponsored by the Burlington Public Library - The Family Roe: An American Story, moderated by Tiziana Dearing, host of Radio Boston on WBUR. Register here.

More about the book:

“Join Investigative Journalist Joshua Prager for a talk on his deeply researched book, The Family Roe: An American Story.  The Family Roe, which was named a finalist for the 2022 Pulitzer Prize, offers extraordinary insight into the Supreme Court’s most divisive case and its plaintiff, Norma McCorvey.

The Family Roe is an engrossing family saga that confronts a half-century of propaganda and myth.”

Sports

Our volleyball players are on the road in Wayland today, with the Freshman and JV teams playing at 4:00 and Varsity playing at 5:15. Field hockey will be in Stoneham with a Varsity game at 4:00 and JV at 5:30.

Have a great day, neighbors. See you tomorrow.
