Daily Buzz | Share Your Stories, Win a Gift Card
Your story could be featured in the Buzz's Guide to Winter in Burlington
Hello, Neighbor!
Exciting things are happening over here at Buzz HQ, and we want to bring you in on the action. This November (in just a few very short weeks!), the Buzz will be publishing its first seasonal Guide to Burlington.
These seasonal publications will be designed with you in mind—aiming to connect readers with activities, nonprofits, and businesses to enrich their experiences for the whole season, right here close to home. Whether you’re interested in staying active, curling up next to the fire, finding your next tasty meal, stimulating your mind, or taking care of your body, the guide will have something for you.
In order to make this a true community resource, we want to hear from the community! Here’s how you can participate:
- If you’re a Burlington resident with a winter story or fun activity to share, submit it here. Your story and accompanying image (optional) could be featured in the guide! (And don’t worry if you’re not a professional writer. We’ll edit it for length and clarity). Already the stories are rolling in—from trudging through snow to the Town Center during the Blizzard of ’78 to sledding down the hill at St. Margaret’s to curling up under a blanket with some hot cider and a good book—and we can’t wait to see what other stories you have to share. And, to get those creative juices flowing, All entries will be entered into a drawing to receive one of three gift cards to a local business!
- If you’re a local business who would like to be featured in the Guide, please contact Nicci at hello@burlington.buzz to discuss sponsorship and collaboration opportunities.
These digital guides will go out to all Buzz readers and be featured in the newsletter and on social media throughout the season, so this is a great opportunity to share what you have to offer with an engaged, caring community who enjoys connecting with our town and with each other. We can’t wait to learn about your stories!
