Daily Buzz | Recreation Catalog Available Today

Good Morning, and a Happy Monday to you! I’m hoping this one isn’t quite as foggy as the last. Figuratively speaking, that is.

The second I sent yesterday’s Buzz, I realized I’d forgotten to include our fundraising banner, updated for the week. Rather than send a correction, I wanted to highlight it today and say - YOU ARE ALL ROCK STARS! As of today, we have $75 to donate to People Helping People, and the month isn’t even half over. I’d love to maximize our donation, so if you’re still on the fence, now’s your chance!

The People Helping People Thanksgiving drive is this Saturday at United Church of Christ. Here’s a list of the items they’re looking for:

Mayonnaise
Pasta
Cereal, Oatmeal
Chicken Broth
Cooking Oil
Jelly
Sugar, Flour
Coffee, Tea, Cocoa
Liquid Dish Soap
Toiletries (shampoo, hand soap, deodorant)

My family will be there helping out - hope to see you there!

Recently, our local technical school appointed a new member of the School Leadership Team. Hallie Larocque was hired to fill a position vacated when her predecessor shifted to a new position within the school. Join me in congratulating Hallie on her new role, and read more here.

Meetings and Events

The highlight of my day will probably be grabbing that winter catalog and going at it with a pen, finding ways to keep my kids occupied during the Dark Day this winter.

  • Boys’ Cross Country won the Divison 2A state championship and will be advancing to the All State meet.
  • Varsity cheer took second at regionals, advancing to state.

Today’s Schedule

Today our JV Boys’ Football team plays in Belmont at 4:00.

That’s all I’ve got. See you tomorrow!
