Daily Buzz | Income-Restricted Housing Opportunities to Open in Burlington
And, School Building Project Community Forum Tonight
Good Morning, Burlington!
Last week we shared information about an affordable (62+) senior housing opportunity available at Grandview Commons. The application period is still open until Monday, July 17, and the application and flyer can be found at the bottom of this email.
In addition to this ownership opportunity, there will be 23 income-restricted rental units, including 5 accessible units, opening at Life Time Living on Middlesex Turnpike. A lottery is expected to be held about a month after the August 30 lottery application deadline.
There will be an in-person information meeting on July 27 at 5:00 PM at the library, as well as a virtual meeting on August 2 at noon. Learn more about this opportunity or request your application here.
Tonight’s Community Forum about the new Elementary School Building Project will be happening virtually at 7:00 PM. The meeting is scheduled to run two hours, and if you own, rent, and/or pay taxes in Burlington, you are encouraged to attend. The Building Committee will be discussing the preliminary cost estimates presented at their June 28 meeting, as well as some preliminary timelines. For more context, see the January 29 Buzz.
