Daily Buzz | Help Collect 100 Backpacks
Also collecting other school supplies
Good Morning, Burlington!
In collaboration with the Burlington Public Schools, HELPIS is seeking donations of backpacks and school supplies in preparation for the start of the 2023-24 school year.
The organization’s goal is to collect 100 backpacks, 100 lunch boxes, 100 pens/pencils, and 100 notebooks. They’d like to have the donations by August 21, and items can be dropped off at the Little House of Kindness in front of Coldwell Banker Realty at 202 Cambridge Street.
Here are other ways to support HELPIS and information on other organizations around town that lend a hand to those in need. Thank you for your kindness!

Sports and Activities
Fall sports tryouts are coming up in just a few short weeks at BHS and Shawsheen, and registration is already open.
- Be on the lookout for sports information.
- If you can connect me with leadership for a fall activity that is not athletic (drama, esports, etc.), please reply to this email or email me at hello@burlington.buzz!
- If you’re a member of leadership for fall athletics, please reply to this email or email me at hello@burlington.buzz!
Burlington Youth Soccer registration for Mighty Mites, U6, and U8 teams is also open until August 12.
I’m looking forward to partnering more closely with the sports and activities, both inside and outside the high school, this year.
That’s it for today. Have a great one!
