Daily Buzz | Help Burlington’s Food Pantry Receive Grant Funding

Good Morning, Burlington!

The Burlington Recreation Department is working to create a Facilities Master Plan envisioning the future of recreation in Burlington, and they want to hear from you! As a part of this process, they are reimagining Overlook Park, the former Nike missile site where the Burlington Players’ theater currently stands. They’ll be applying for a Land and Water Conservation Grant to help defer the cost of the work required to rework the area, and public input is crucial to this process. The Department also plans to upgrade Simonds Park in the near future. Fill out this quick survey to let the Recreation Department know what kinds of amenities you’d like to see at the parks once they’re finished. The survey closes on Friday, December 15, so be sure to take a moment to fill it out now!
