Daily Buzz | Get Your Raffle Tickets for Spike Out Cancer
And spend some time strolling the Farmer's Market
Good morning!
Today is a great, if chilly, day for walk, ride, and roll to school day at Fox Hill. I am not sure if other schools are doing this, but if so you should have gotten notice from your school’s front office.
I attended bits and pieces of the School Committee meeting last night, but had to keep signing off; I do plan to watch back and, assuming I have time to do so, I’ll summarize the meeting for you in tomorrow’s Buzz. In the meantime, you can always watch at BCAT when it’s ready or at BCAT Government Coverage on Facebook.
Today in Burlington
The Farmer’s Market is back at Wayside Common tonight. Maybe I’ll remember the stroller this time so I can enjoy it instead of chasing a very much smaller and more agile version of myself through the crowd the whole time.
- 4:00 PM-7:00 PM - Farmer’s Market at Wayside, featuring face painting and balloon animals, as well as more than 20 local businesses including Cousins Lobster, Chaos & Curls, YiaYia’s Baklava, and more.
- 4:00 PM - Council on Aging will have their regular meeting, including an update on fire safety. (Join online)
- 6:30 PM - Zoning Bylaw Review Committee has a packed agenda, during which they’ll discuss housing choice, a town center multifamily zone, the master plan, and more. (Join online)
- Don’t forget the Spike Out Cancer fundraiser on Friday at 5:30! Get your t-shirts and raffle tickets, or make a donation, now!
