Good Morning, Burlington!

There’s not a ton of municipal activity today, so I wanted to highlight a few things that are coming up and ongoing so you can check them out.

The Simonds Park Wading Pool is open! Club Simonds uses it most days until 3pm, but this is a great choice for a fun afternoon with your littles. You’ll need a pass from the Recreation Department. Hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 3:00-8:00 PM; Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 10:00 AM-8:00 PM.

There are still spots open for a Berry Basket Weaving Class today at 10:00 at Made in Burlington.
There will be a Cultural Night on Monday evening, July 17, at Simonds Park from 6:30-8:00 PM. Visit stations, individuals, and organizations for a tour around the world! This evening is the culminating event of a Girl Scout Silver Award project by two Burlington students. Reach out to burlingtonculturefest@gmail.com or call 781-270-1695 with questions!
Wayside Shopping Center will be holding an Artisan and Farmer’s Market from 4:00-7:00 PM next Wednesday, July 19. Vendors will include Uncle Joey’s Cannoli, Chaos & Curls Designs, Claire’s Treasure Company, and more.
The Follow Your Heart sculpture is coming home to Burlington, and the Sculpture Park wants to celebrate with you. Come out on July 22 at 10:00 to welcome our beloved (and newly reinforced) sculpture home with music and activities for all ages. There will be games, prizes, and free food!
Celebrate Burlington will be held on the Burlington Town Common on August 5. Mark your calendars now!
