Daily Buzz | Community Health Survey to Connect Burlington Residents with State Services

Good Morning, Burlington!

The Weekly Buzz was just in your inboxes less than half a day ago, but Monday is a new day!

Yom Kippur begins tonight, and the meetings that would ordinarily be held after sundown on Mondays are thus rescheduled; we’ve got Select Board and Town meeting to look forward to this Wednesday.

Participate in the State’s Community Health Survey

Our Health Department, in collaboration with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, is conducting a Community Health Equity Survey.

The goal of the survey is to reach vulnerable populations within each community and further assess health inequity. The state DPH will break results down by town, and information will be provided on how to better serve such populations as well as what resources are needed.

This anonymous survey is available in a number of languages, takes about 10-20 minutes, and allows participants to skip questions that don’t apply or that they don’t feel comfortable answering. In the end, the hope is that the state can use this information to provide more targeted and responsive care to communities in the Commonwealth. Respond today at mass.gov/healthsurvey.
