Good Morning!

Not a lot going on in town today, so I thought I’d take a moment to remind you (or, if you’re new, tell you for the first time!) that, aside from being a teacher and a local news publication writer, I also write books and essays. I am putting finishing touches on my first novel, which I expect to publish in 2023, and you can keep up with my progress toward publication and read more of my thoughts on parenting, writing, and being a human in this messy world at Nicci’s Notes.

Meetings and Events

This is the last week for early in-person voting for the town election. Obligatory Question 5 (Community Preservation Act) Podcast mention. There was also a debate on BCAT, which I am dying to watch when I have a spare minute.

8:30 AM-4:30 PM - Early In-Person Voting - at Town Hall
6:00 PM-8:00 PM - Halloween at West School. The Historical Society will be providing cider and treats! Address is 106 Bedford St., near St. Malachy’s.

Sports

With the fall season winding down, the only thing on the schedule today is a Girls’ Cross Country meet at Woburn at 1:00 PM.
